Cheryl Alexander, M.A. has been a Social Worker and Counselor for more than twenty five years, working exclusively with families. In her role as Director for Children, Youth and Family Services at Jewish Family Service of San Diego she was responsible for creating and developing the largest Parent Education Program implemented in San Diego, funded by San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency in 2009. She managed the $10,000,000 program for four years, overseeing a staff of thirty, serving more than 4,000 families. Cheryl was also responsible for developing the largest Child Abuse Prevention Program in San Diego, serving nearly 250,000 children, teachers and
parents in every school district, over its fifteen year lifespan. She sees prevention and intervention as a better way to have a healthy community for the future.
